Description

Grey and white stoneware footed tea bowl. Some thick white slip brushwork, covered by an unctuous clear glaze. The body has prominent iron spots, and other inclusions.
No obvious mark.

Notes

History note: Bought by Shakeshaft from Jack Blackburn's 'Pots from France' stand at an 'Earth & Fire' fair at Rufford Abbey Country Park. 23rd June 2007
