Wood-fired stoneware tea bowl (yunomi), with cut sides and foot. Thick creamy Shino glaze, partially mottled, with underglaze brush decoration showing through as brown. Some pale peach tints in glaze.
History note: Bought by Shakeshaft from the 'Totally Teabowls' exhibition at the Oakwood Gallery (Edwinstowe), no. 147. 27 March 2004
