Soft-paste porcelain teapot painted in polychrome enamels on each side with a Chinese garden scene with a woman standing by a fence and a woman and a boy standing beside a table.
Soft-paste porcelain, glazed, painted in blue, green, yellow, red, pinkish-purple, brown and black enamels, and gilt. The globular pot stands on a footring. On side of the pot, is a panel edged by fine scrolls, in which a Chinese lady sits on a barrel-shaped stool beside a tree, looking towards a little boy who stands with his arms outstretched. On the other side, a Chinese man and woman stand beside a table. The woman holds the left hand of a little boy who stands and points with his right had towards the viewer's left. Above the handle and spout there are shaped panels of red diaper pattern edged by thin black scrolls, and below are similar panels with black and red stylized flowers and foliage above them. There is a red and black sprig on top of the spout, and a red formal flower or star with dots and dashes above and below it. The cover is decorated with semi-circular panels edge by black scrolls, one containing part of a gree and clumps of grass, and the other, a fence flanked by clumps of grass. Between them are panels of red diaper pattern and black and red stylzied foliage and flowers. The flower knob has red petals and a green centre and leaves.
