Description

Wood-fired footed stoneware tea bowl, of open form, freely thrown and turned rings. Yellow natural ash deposited on one side, over a grey base glaze inside and out. Hakeme creamy glaze covers about one-third of the inside area.
No clear mark.

History note: Bought by Shakeshaft from an 'Earth & Fire' at Rufford Abbey Country Park. 28th June 2008
