Close-helmet constructed from the skull of a close-helmet or burgonet, with attached visor and neck-lames. The two-part visor is made up from a 17th century Pikeman’s tasset (thigh-defence). A complete 17th century Pikeman’s gorget (throat-defence) is attached at the bottom to form the neck-lames.
