PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: parchment 167 x 110 mm (120 x 60 mm), 28 long lines ruled in faint red ink on reverse

SCRIPT: Gothic bookhand (textualis)

CONTENTS:
End of Sext with first seven lines of None on reverse

DECORATION:
Large miniature, framed by marble pillars, with the opening words of the liturgical office inscribed beneath on white trompe-l’oeil scrolls: (verso) None, Presentation in the Temple

ORNAMENTATION
Gold and silver initials on red and maroon grounds; gold and silver line-fillers on red and maroon grounds; one-sided borders in the outer margins, predominantly in gold and silver on red and silver grounds incorporating wild men, floral sprays and acanthus on text pages; rubrics in blue; capitals highlighted in yellow
