PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Parchment, 390 x 280 mm (303 x 210 mm), framed miniature 306 x 210 mm, eight lines of text ruled in faint brown ink and eight four-line musical staves ruled in red ink on reverse (original recto)

SCRIPT: Gothic bookhand (textualis)

CONTENTS: Antiphons for Terce, Sext, None, Vespers and Compline for Sexagesima Sunday, beginning Qui verbum dei retinet, on the reverse (original recto)

DECORATION
Full-page framed miniature on burnished gold ground, with floral and foliate extensions: Crucifixion with Longinus piercing Christ’s side and the Virgin, her female companions, St John, soldiers and bystanders gathered at the base of the cross.
