Ding incense burner with dragon handles. Hard-paste porcelain painted in underglaze blue. The incense burner has rounded sides, with broad everted rim, resting on three feet, with a flat, unglazed base. Two dragons, moulded in relief, decorate the sides, and their tails form two handles. The flat rim is decorated with a border of classic scrolls. The neck is decorated with two fire scrolls: a lozenge motif on one side; and a bird perched on prunus branch on the other. The sides are painted with three triangles of imitation drapery interspersed with pendant jewels. The interior is unglazed.
