Description

Charger. Hard-paste porcelain painted in underglaze blue. The charger is heavily potted, widely flared, with well-rounded sides resting on a low tapered footring. The interior is boldly painted with five lotus heads on scrolling foliage at the centre, within a band of classic-scroll and a border of six similar lotus heads on scrolling foliage, on the sides, within a double-line border. The exterior is decorated with seven similar lotus heads and scrolling foliage above a classic-scroll border. The base is unglazed.
