Description

Plate. Hard-paste porcelain painted in yellow, violet, green, rose and detailed in black and brown. Enamelled on the front with three peony heads, one rose, one yellow and one violet with leaves. On the underside stems, leaves and petals are moulded and similarly enamelled.

History note: H.S. Reitlinger (d.1950); the Reitlinger Trust, Maidenhead, from which transferred in 1991.
