Valentine card
Publisher: Kershaw, George
Lace-paper with two teardrop-shaped windows at the centre decorated with lithographed flower cut-outs on embossed paper adhered onto rice-paper panels and which open with white ribbon ties to reveal other chromolithographed scraps of flower bouquets. At lower centre are white silk acanthus leaves affixed with a lace-paper cartouche, printed with bronze metallic ink and bearing the motto: 'For ever Thine' at lower centre. A further lithographic flower cut-out affixed at upper centre with the motto: 'I love you most dear'. KERSHAW & SON blind-embossed along the left edge of the paper. The inside of the card is blank.
