Description

Comic valentine. A hand-coloured woodcut on thin wove paper. A woman with the head of a cat stands at a door in her nightclothes and holding a candle. A clock shows a few minutes to 2 AM. A man wearing a hat and smoking a pipe is seen behind the door. A printed verse below: "Mow Wow I smell a row, / It's nearly two I know, / Won't he catch it when home he come / If he's so late when out he roams. / Well what if he be a flat".
