Valentine card

Comic Valentine. An image of a man and woman walking arm in arm. A tinted lithograph printed in three colours (red, yellow and black) on thin wove paper. The brown colour of the man's jacket appears to have been created by overprinting yellow, red and black inks. "No.4." printed above the image. A printed verse above and below: "A little less bounce when you'r [sic] gadding about / Considering the cheap clothes you wear / Would be more becoming without any doubt / And suit you much better I truly declare." One of a series. See also P.14345-R-76. The inside of the card is blank.
