Valentine card

A hand-coloured woodcut on very thin 4to-sized wove paper with a separately printed woodcut border featuring cupids, nesting birds, hearts and arrows in green ink. The image shows a woman descending steps in a garden wearing dress c. 1830s and holding a letter with two hearts on it in her right hand. Three quarters of the backing paper are missing and the remainder is stuck to the front paper.
