Valentine card

An ornate lithographed border of stylised flowers and leaves with hand colouring. A lithographed verse above a hand-coloured vignette of a couple strolling in the countryside, the man gesturing towards a church on the right. A lithographed verse above: "And can you think my love is chill / nor fix'd on you alone ...". A partially erased graphite inscription at upper centre: "No 10". The inside pages are blank. From a series. A similar example, presumably from the same series, is in the collection of the Museum of London; see A19412/7, which is dated 1845-1860.
