Valentine card

Small, postcard-style valentine featuring seven birds sitting on a telegraph wire. The card has been cut away around each bird. A printed verse in blue ink below: "Think of me. / As Summer without sun, / As garden without flowers, / As wastes which travellers shun, / Which once were fragrant bowers! / So is my life without thy love, / Oh let this thought thy pity move!" The style suggests a dating of 20th century rather than 19th.
