Valentine card
Publisher: Unknown
Chromolithograph (out of register) of a couple wearing late 18th-century dress in an embrace below a cherry tree. The image is affixed to what appears to be two pieces of card of identical design arranged horizontally with printed grey and embossed borders and scalloped edges. There are two printed mottoes on scrolls affixed at lower left: 'To a LOV'D ONE / wilt thou be mine'. This joining together of two cards (probably originally a folding valentine) is seen elsewhere.
