Cupid's Mirror Valentine card

Etching and engraving with hand-colouring on one sheet of 4to-size white wove paper. Central image within an etched rectangular frame of a lady wearing a white regency-style dress seated in an interior being shown, by Cupid, a large, oval-shaped mirror containing an image of a gentleman on bended knee, entitled "Behold your LOVER". Decorative mirrors 'of love' crossed with cupid's quiver and bow are at upper left and right and Cupid's bow and arrows crossed with hearts are at lower left and right. An engraved title below the central image: CUPID'S MIRROR. From a series of Cupid/Hymen subjects. See also P.14410-R-3 and P.14410-R-6.
