Description

Loose inside album P.14412-R between nos. 64 and 72. Small 64mo-size playing-card-style comic valentine with a simple, embossed border. A die-cut, glazed chromolithograph affixed at the centre; a male figure with the oversized head of a shark and wearing a top hat and pink checked coat. A long, printed letterpress verse below: "Shark-like and greedy! alas its [sic] true: / Crabby and vicious, such, such, are you; ...". '2' inscribed in graphite on the verso at upper left. From a series of comic valentines, nine of which are mounted onto the same leaf in album P.14412-R. This is a duplicate of P.14412-R-71.
