Valentine card

A small 32mo-size single piece of embossed white card with scalloped edges and lithographed geometric patterned background in pale orange with gilt detailing and oval window. The card is decorated with blue bow scraps at the four corners and a chromolithographed floral wreath around the central window which is mounted on paper springs. The central panel contains a lithographed verse in black ink on white wove paper: 'Though times and / seasons ever change / And friends / grow scarce and few / May each / succeeding Christmas / bring, / Fresh hopes / and joys to you'. This seems to be a valentine sent to a friend or loved one during the Christmas season.
