Description

A sachet valentine with gilt, embossed border and embossed chromolithographed recto with a scene of shells, seaweed and waterlilies. At the centre, an oval-shaped flap with embossed, chromolithographed waterlillies and gilt detailing has a scallop shell-shaped window at upper centre displaying the heads of three children. The flap lifts up to reveal the children sitting in a heart-shaped coracle garlanded with red roses, floating on the sea.
