The Blessing Valentine card
Publisher: Unknown
A very small valentine of white wove paper with an embossed lace-paper border of roses and leaves. A letterpress verse at lower centre: 'THE BLESSING. / May the blessing of God ever rest / on thy head, / And the sun of his favour brightly / shed / A light on thy path through this / dark vale of tears, / His love be thy comfort, allaying / thy fears.'. Above is a small rectangular lithograph of flowers with silver background inside an embossed border. The interior is blank.
