Constancy Valentine card
Publisher: J.T. Wood & Co
A valentine of cameo-embossed silver and white die-cut paper of a design featuring a couple arm-in-arm at lower centre, flowers, scrolls and winged putti at upper centre. A pale pink slip paper is affixed behind. A window at upper centre contains a panel of white silk printed in black ink with the verse: 'Constancy. / Tho' years may pass, and Time's / rude blast / Leaves its deep impress on thy brow; / Through every change, in every land, / My heart will treasure thee as now. ...'. 'WOOD' is stamped along the spine at centre left. The front of silver and white paper is adhered to the plain white back paper.
