Description

Loose inside album P.14417-R on the leaf following no. 107. A minature upright rectangle of embossed, cream card with gilded detail. An embossed design of flowers, palms, an urn and a winged figure. A lithographed title and verse are printed within the design: 'I LOVE BUT THEE / If after all you will still / doubt and fear me, / And think this heart to / other love will stray; / If I must swear, then lovely / doubter, hear me - / By all those dreams I have / when thou'rt away - / By every throb I feel when thou / art near me - / I love but thee - I love but thee'. The verso is blank.
