Dish. Hard-paste porcelain painted in iron-red, green, yellow, black and grey enamels. The dish has shallow, rounded sides with a broad, everted rim resting on a low, tapered footrim. The central medallion is painted with a lady at a table holding a chrysanthemum sprig beside a screen and balcony. The scene is within borders of ruyi heads, foliate lines, trellis work and, around the rim, peony heads and foliage on a fish roe ground. The underside is decorated with a band of cloud scrolls, and lappets around the footrim.
