Description

Silver and white embossed lace-paper of a design featuring garlands of roses and other flowers and a lattice-work baskets within a 'twig' frame. A central oval window contains a collage of three leaves fashioned from real straw or reed and a hand-coloured paper bird with lithographed detail in silver ink. A lithographed verse in blue ink on a strip of white paper is affixed below: 'I love you dear, Oh do not fear / To say you love me in return'. 'MAN[SELL]' is stamped at lower centre.
