Description

A small 'birthday' valentine of white embossed paper with gilt and blue woodblock printed detail. An oval panel at the centre is printed in blue ink with title and verse: 'A BIRTHDAY / Dear friend, on this thy natal day, / Accept my fond and ardent wish, ...'. The card is contained inside an envelope of white embossed paper. A handwritten inscription in black ink on left and right envelope flaps: 'From / J.H. / April 2nd / /53'. Uses the same verse as P.14421-R.f2ri
