Valentine card
Publisher: Park, A.
A comic woodcut valentine on thin wove paper, folded. There are paper losses (nibbled?) at lower centre and upper right corner. A hand-coloured woodcut of a grotesque female head wearing a cloth cap and 'wearing' a pair of trousers. The publisher's details printed below: 'A. PARK, LONDON'. A verse printed below: 'I say, old wench, how are you now? / You surely must be full of riches, / For you've not only prigged the coat. / But now it seems you've got the breeches. / I wish you luck, old termagant, / A temper hot like your's [sic] will thin them, / I wouldn't wear the same again, / For all the precious goods within them.'. The interior is blank.
