Bowl. Hard-paste porcelain painted in famille rose enamels, green, blue, rose, iron-red, yellow, brown and black. The small bowl has a slightly flaring rim tapering to a low foot with flat, recessed base. The outside has a fan-shaped panel containing two boys in a landscape, and a scroll panel containing two boys playing, one with a top, reserved on a millefleurs ground. The interior is undecorated.
History note: H.S. Reitlinger (d.1950); the Reitlinger Trust, Maidenhead, from which transferred in 1991.
