Teabowl. Hard-paste porcelain, finely potted, painted in famille rose enamels, turquoise, blue, yellow, green, brown, black, and rose. The teabowl is decorated with two scroll panels containing a river landscape alternating with chrysanthemum heads reserved on a deep rose ground. The interior is white with a dog of fo in the centre.
History note: H.S. Reitlinger (d.1950); the Reitlinger Trust, Maidenhead, from which transferred in 1991.
