Hybrid hard-paste porcelain printed underglaze in blue with a Chinese lake scene and border
Hybrid hard-paste porcelain printed underglaze in blue, and gilded. Oval with a six-sided shaped edge, shallow, sloping, fluted sides, and flat base. The flat area is decorated with a Chinese landscape, with buildings amid trees on the right, a man near a bridge, and a man standing on a bridge leading to a small island to the left of centre, a boat on water, on the left, a shore with a building amid tree and rocks on the left. On the slides there is border of scrolls, foliage and fruit with dotted beads on the edge. There is a gold band round the lower edge of the sides and round the upper edge.
