Lithograph (uncoloured) on white wove paper. Inlaid within a frame of buff wove paper (approx. height 360mm x width 515mm). Brougham, in judge's wig and gown, plays badminton with Lord Grey (on the left). The shuttlecock at upper centre contains the head and shoulders of Lord Londonderry, who says: 'What an agreeable sensation!'. Signed with monogram at lower left: 'HB'. Title printed below the border: 'A GAME OF / POLITICAL SHUTTLECOCK.'. The publisher's details printed below: 'Published by Thos McLean, 26, Haymarket, Sepr 20th 1831.'. Printer's details below the border at lower right: 'C. Motte's Lithography St. Martins Lane'. Printed above the border at upper right: 'HB Sketches No 155.'.
