Lithograph (uncoloured) on white wove paper. Inlaid within a frame of buff wove paper (approx. height 360mm x width 515mm). A four-horse stagecoach labelled, 'Grey & Co / REFORM', is driven at speed down a hill by Grey as the driver: 'Never fear! They'll stop when they reach the / bottom.'. Beside him on the driver's box are Durham, Althorp and Lansdowne. King William IV sits inside the coach. At the back of coach are: John Bull, Brougham and O'Connell. The fourth figure is unidentified. Wellington stands on the road behind the coach at the far right. Signed with monogram at lower left: 'HB'. Title printed below the border: '_NEW REFORM COACH_.'. In Latin below the title: 'Parce puer stimulis et fortiter utere loris.'. The publisher's details printed below left: 'Published by Thos. McLean, 26, Haymarket, June 21st 1832.'. A small, circular blind stamp at lower left: 'THOs. MCLEAN'. Printer's details below the border at lower right: 'A. Ducôté's Lithogy. 70, St Martins Lane.'.
