Lithograph (uncoloured) on white wove paper. Inlaid within a frame of buff wove paper (approx. height 360mm x width 515mm). Lord Grey, in the guise of fishmonger, stands beside a counter of mackeral seen on the right. Brougham pokes his head through a row of hanging fish at the far right. Two men on the left; Lord Denman, who is examining a mackerel and another gentleman, the Editor of _The Times_, with a copy of the newspaper seen in his pocket. Unsigned. Title printed below the border: '---- MACKEREL!.'. The publisher's details printed below the border to the left: 'Published by Thos. McLean, 26, Haymarket, April 8th. 1834.'. Printer's details below the border to the right: 'A. Ducôté's Lithogy. 70, St Martins Lane'. Printed above the border at upper right: 'HB Sketches No 311'.
