Lithograph (uncoloured) on white wove paper. Inlaid within a frame of buff wove paper (approx. height 360mm x width 515mm). King William IV is wearing the blindfold and stands at centre foreground with his arms stretched out to the sides. Behind him is a row of fifteen men. To his right are: Lord Grey, Lord Ebrington, Lord Althorp, Sir Francis Burdett, Sir John Hobhouse, Joseph Hume, Lord Melbourne (who ties the blindfold). Behind him is Edward Ellice. To his left are: Thomas Spring Rice, Lord Brougham, Lord Duncannon, Edward John Littleton, Daniel O'Connell, Lord Palmerston and Lord Auckland. Signed with artist's monogram at lower left: 'HB'. Title printed below the border: 'BLIND-MAN'S-BUFF.'. The publisher's details printed below the border to the left: 'Published by Thos. McLean, 26, Haymarket, July 22nd, 1834.'. A small, circular blind stamp at lower left: 'THOs. MCLEAN'. Printer's details below the border to the right: 'A. Ducôté, Lithog. 70, St Martin's Lane'. Printed above the border at upper right: 'HB Sketches No. 332. P.14756-R is another impression.
