A group of men sitting around a table all look towards a man (Lord Melbourne) entering from the right who says to them: "We are all out! - regularly / kicked out!". The other men are, from left to right: Lord Brougham, Lord Russell, Lord Holland, Lord Duncannon, Thomas String Rice, Sir John Cam Hobhouse, Lord Auckland, Lord Palmerston and Charles Grant. Unsigned. Title printed below the border: 'RECEIVING THE FATAL NEWS!'. The publisher's details printed below the border to the left: 'Published by T. McLean, 26, Haymarket, Decr. 1st. 1834.'. Printer's details below the border to the right: 'Ducôté & Stephen's Lithogy, 70, St. Martins Lane'. Printed above the border at upper right: 'HB Sketches No. 356'. P.14781-R is another impression.
