Description

Awarded to members of the militia battalions which were sent to Malta and Gibraltar to take over from the regular troops who were drafted to the Cape. The ribbon is red with two narrow dark blue stripes and a central broad orange stripe.

Notes

History note: Possibly given by the Royal Mint as examples of Military medals.
