Description

This painting depicts a garden scene with two vibrant blue birds soaring through the upper portion among trailing vines and small blue flowers. At the lower left corner, there are two quails standing by a rock with pink hibiscus and orange flowers. On the right, two sparrows stand on a rock with moss over the running creek. More flowers and insects decorate the scene. The brushwork is refined and the composition likely derives from embroidery or wallpaper. Previously described as "various birds, butterflies and insects amongst rocks, flowers and trees".
