Autograph MS, headed 'Epilogue' ('Addenda' struck out), 'Proofs' upper left corner beginning 'The short pieces of criticism on contemporary art, given I believe only in the second edition...' 13 sheets, 12 pp. numbered 1-4 , Addenda 5-12. Red morocco binding, in slip case.
Collation: single sheets mounted on guards. folio 3 is half sheet fragment, cut across bottom edge. Folio 8 has 40 lines of writing, folded up to fit the binding.
