Studies of a standing draped women
Two full length studies of a draped fable figure with laurel wreath headdress and veil, with a smaller drapery study in the centre. Preparatory studies for the figure of Humanity in 'The Genius of France animates the Arts, protects Humanity', commissioned to adorn one of the ceilings in the Musée Charles X rooms in the Louvre and finally executed in 1833.
