Mrs. John Ashley (d. 1907), 17 Upper Brook St., London: Christie’s, 31 May 1907, lot 91 (640 gns. to the following); With Asher Wertheimer from whom purchased by Adolph Hirsch, and by inheritance, though his widow, Mrs George Cornwallis‐West (1878‐1972), and her daughter, Mrs Richard Pinto, to her son, George Pinto (1929‐2018)
Accepted in lieu of Inheritance Tax by HM Government from the estate of George Pinto and allocated to the Fitzwilliam, 2019, received 2020
