Description

A systematic collection of 297 Vietnamese coins of the 10th-20th cent. formed mainly in the 1970s, including an earlier collection of George C. Chapman of Ashworth, FRNS (d. 4 Dec. 1977, active late 1920s-c.1960). In 2007 the Museum bought Mr Rhodes Korean collection that had mainly come from Mr Chapman as well (cf. CM.81–2007 and following).
