Based on Thomas Morley's Pavan in F major, Fitzwilliam virginal book no. 169. The harmonic structure and underlying melody is the same, but with significant differences in the divisions.
Manuscript copyist (possibly Francis Tregian) in ink.
Editions: see the 'Fitzwilliam virginal book,' revised Dover edition, 1980, 2:456 (no. 285), and in 'Giles & Richard Farnaby: keyboard music' (MB 24, no. 17)
