The second of five pieces by Tisdall, nos. 3-5 of which are numbered.
Manuscript copyist (possibly Francis Tregian) in ink.
Editions: see the 'Fitzwilliam virginal book,' revised Dover edition, 1980, 2:278 (no. 214), and 'Keyboard music from Fitzwilliam manuscripts' (MB 102 no. 20)
