Afsharid, Shahrukh (first reign, 1748-50), silver two rupis, type C, Mashhad mint, AH 1161 or 1162 (SICA 9, 1440; Album 2773), 22.64g. Acquired by Prof. Henderson’s father in Mesopotamia, 1920s.
