Probably Unknown (Glassmaker)


Opaque-white glass, painted in polychrome enamels; enamelled copper drip pan with gilt-metal rim; incised twist stem; domed circular foot. Painted on the foot with flowers and butterflies, and on the nozzle and drip pan with sprays of flowers


History note: Purchased Sotheby's, 12th June, 1951, part of lot 40; Cecil Davis; Donald H. Beves, King's College, Cambridge.
