A study for the watercolour, 'The Goldfish Pool' (1861) at Carlisle Museum and Art Gallery (125-1949-31). The figure was formerly thought to be the Beggar Maid, presumably an early version, but was correctly identified by Mr. D.R. Perriam in November 1970.
