Posset pot
Glasshouse: Ravenscroft, George
Faintly crizzled lead-glass, blown. Circular with moulded gadrooned base, straight sides, two scrolled handles, and at right angles to them, a curved spout with raven's head seal at base.

By 1674 Ravenscroft was also operating a glasshouse at Henley on Thames, but this posset pot has usually been attributed to the Savoy glasshouse off the Strand. It is one of six known bearing the raven's head seal adopted by Ravenscroft.
