Description

Fragment of a silver dirham struck under the reign of al-Mu'tamid. The coin was struck in Madinat al-Salam (=Baghdad, Iraq) in AH [26]1 (CE 874-875). The coin is part of two or more Scandinavian hoards of the 10th and 11th centuries.
