Description

Fragment of a silver dirham struck under the reign of Harun al-Rashid. The coin was struck in al-Muhammadiyya (Iran) in AH 180 (?) (CE 796-797). The coin is part of two or more Scandinavian hoards of the 10th and 11th centuries.
